About US Water Watch

Independent Data You Can Trust

Our Mission

US Water Watch is an independent data aggregator dedicated to making water quality information accessible to every American family. We translate complex government datasets from the EPA Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) database into clear, actionable water quality reports.

What We Do

We do not manufacture water filters. We are an independent data aggregator. Our mission is to translate complex government datasets into clear, actionable reports for American families.

We analyze public EPA violation data and present it in an easy-to-understand format with letter grades (A-F), detailed contaminant breakdowns, and educational information about what each contaminant means for your health.

Our Data Sources

All water quality data presented on this site comes directly from the EPA's Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) public database. This includes violation records, contaminant detections, and public water system information from across all 50 states.

How We're Supported

Affiliate Disclosure: US Water Watch is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us maintain the site and continue providing free water quality reports.

We only recommend products that we believe can genuinely help improve your water quality based on the specific contaminants detected in your area. Our recommendations are based on NSF certifications and product specifications, not on which products pay us the highest commission.
